Final Innovative Jacket

I am very pleased with this as i love how i have used the fabric to create different lines with the seams and the pinstripe i also tried to match the collar up so the pinstripe matched up and i think i have done a really good job. Also the triangles meet up a lot better than they did on my toile which i am incredibly happy with!

I am incredibly pleased with this and cannot believe i actually made it!

Raglan with Triangle Sleeve

This is my design for my innovative sleeve number 2. I think it worked well but i wish the triangle met up better and it is quite messy by the gusset so next time i will put the triangles in teh bodice and sleeve first then put the gusset in.

After 3 attempts i finally got it right and i am incredibly pleased. I moved the top dart on the front bodice down into the one at the bottom and raised the shoulder to give a little bit more room. Also i made the gusset smaller so it isnt as baggy. My next task is to move the triangles all down the arm and bodice.

This was my first attempt with no help from Adrian and i think it was ok but the gusset diamond was too big and i didn't sew it very well so i asked Adrian and he showed me how to do it properly.

Innovative Sleeve 1

This was the first sleeve i attempted as i felt confident in doing it which is good but it means i am not pushing myself very hard so i am going to attempt a raglan sleeve with gusset but i wanted to have a back up sleeve incase it all goes terribly wrong.
