First Toile - i am really happy with the shape of this. If i made the pockets smaller i think it could be turned round and used as a coat as well if i put an open ended zip all the way down the back!
For the whole of February i'm going to wear the same dress everyday! apart from work and the gym. This is to raise money for our graduate fashion show!
These illustrations really inspire me as i love the different shapes and textured created and i think this would work if i used CAD first then worked into it.
I am collaborating with two graphics students, who are going to do my branding, logo, lookbook and font. I am really excited for this as I am so intrigued what they are going to come up with.
This is Elisabeth Bukanova's work, i really like the texture that is created in her drawings and i know this is something i need to work on. So, it really inspires me!
These are bubble illustrations by Austrian duo Peter Olschinsky and Verena Weiss of Atelier Olschinsky. Again they remind me of the Wonderlab S/S 13 trend but just not as bright but i will definitely be using this in my design work for UNIQLO.
We have 4 other mini briefs to do this term and were given a list of them. I have highlighted about 6 that i would do so just need to decide but Uniqlo was top of the list so decided to start to do some of it. I have started out with a mood board just so if i stop and start i know what direction i am working towards. I also have done a shop report which enables me to source fabrics.
