Mercedes Helnwein

Mercedes Helnwein was born in Vienna, Austria and is the daughter of renowned painter Gottfreid Helnwein. I really like her work as inlike the way she uses the pencil and it is so detailed and soft and sketchy. Her imagery is slightly dark and sinister but it works well against the strong tones. I have responded to her work with this image that was in Lula magazine and I really like it although I think I could have been more sensitive with my pencil lines.
